Liked this movie a lot! Had to scrape myself off the ceiling a couple of times and once the heart stated beating relatively normal enjoyed it right to the end. Liam Neeson the leader of the pack vs the blizzard conditions and the local wild life made for a tense time. My son on the other hand thought it was 'stupid'!

Poetic and haunting in moments, contrived and predictable in others, The Grey is a great presentation of the typical survival thriller without truly going beyond the genre's limitations. Liam Neeson is excellent in the story's central role but few of the other cast members are in any way memorable. Overall a good outing that earns my respect but not my love.

This movie was recommended to me and I'm glad I went and saw it. before I went i read the reviews and noted that the ending wasn't as one might of expected. I think if it had of ended like most US movies where the good guys always prevail then it would of ruined it.
