We really liked this movie. It was good that there wasn't an unrealistic happy ending.

That was the most depressing comedy I've ever seen. The highlight of the movie was Elizabeth Reaser who gave it her all playing the drums but also gave a brilliant protrayal of the loyal, understanding wife who isn't fooled for one minute over what Mavis is up to. There are great actors in this film but the plot couldn't be saved by any of them

Thought it might be funny but it ended up being just very depressing. Very few funny bits to break up the depressing and awkward scenes.

sadly, i found myself feeling very disappointed
mistaken, misled and quite out-of-jointed...
the main character was totally unlikeable
though some of the others were amiable
hard to engage with the premise
this was a total doozer and off-target miss!
