HOYTS Te Awa offers more than 1400 seats, with 6 digital screens, D-Box Motion Code and 3D capability. There's also Xtremescreen and La Premiere theatres.
The Xtremescreen seats 450 and boasts the largest movie screen in the Waikato, 7.1 digital sound and New Zealand’s first 4k digital projection system. The venue includes an auditorium for large-screen events, conferences, 3D concerts and sporting events.
HOYTS is also introducing a new experience for movie-goers – the walk-through food emporium offering high quality food concepts and pre-movie snacks, as well as a bar, premium La Premiere seats with in-theatre dining, best wines and a tapas-style menu.
