A coward, timid guy named Dharani belongs to a village Veerlapalli, which is surrounded by Singareni coal collieries. He has a close friend Suri and other 12 friends. They steal coal from moving train and make money out of it. They hangout at Silk bar (which was previously owned by Kanakaiah in 1994 and then owned by Shivanna in 1995 after winning in the local elections over his step-brother Rajanna. From then on, it’s under the management ofShivanna and his son Chinna Nambi). Dharani belongs to lower caste, Suri and Vennela belong to upper caste. Dharani behaves courageous only when gets drunk. Lower caste people aren’t allowed inside the bar. When Chinna Nambi to boost their political mileage, proposes a cricket tournament and it’s reward is a person from winning team will be recruited as bar cashier. Dharani’s team wins in the final match (despite of Chinna Nambi warning Dharani not to play in final match). Shivanna announces Chinna Nambi as contender for surpunch for upcoming elections. Dharani and batch celebrate their victory and due to some turn in events, Dharanienters the bar to save Suri. This creates a big ruckus. Police arrest them and punishes them brutally. Rajanna comes out after 14 years and brings Dharani and batch out of jail. Suri supports Rajanna and asks him to contest in the coming election against Chinna Nambi. Rajanna accepts after a lot of hesitation. Dharani feels scared. Suri and Vennela get married. But on that night, Suri and three other friends gets killed in the attack by goons. Dharani is in shock. Dharani finds the person behind his friends’ killing. Why did Vadhinamma tell the truth to Dharani? What did she advise him? Now Dharani is at crossroads. He has to avenge his friends ‘death and protect the love of his life from a womanizer. What did Dharani do after knowing the truth? How did Vennela come to know the reason for Suri’s death and who did it? How did Dharani kill the person behind his friend's death? Why did Dharani burn the bar down after he got released from jail? All these questions form the other intense half of the film and lead to an emotional climax.
