On the early morning of the Winter Solstice, Tang Yu’s son vanished without a trace from a stairwell. In the neighboring building, Yan Wu—a man consumed by gambling—made the grim decision to hide his father’s corpse within a rented room. Half a year prior, a young woman living alone named Lin Yutong was assaulted in her sleep; the culprit was never found. These seemingly unrelated threads are now beginning to intertwine, replaying and converging in this singular moment.
